The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan is simply devastating. I just can't image what the people in Japan are going through. Whole towns wiped out by the tsunami. It's really horrible.
I spent some time tonight inquiring into the well-being of several Japanese photographers whose work I've been following. Four have responded and said they are safe, although one said their granddaughter was stranded because of the interruption in the transportation system.
Tonight's photos include a couple of the ditch in anticipation of watering, and the latest of the amaryllis that now has three blooms.
