While I was working on the photo of the day, I was reminded of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You." I was 14 years old the when the song was popular. While it wasn't my favorite Zeppelin song, I always liked the phrase "Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of love lost in days gone by". Those words hit home for a young man interested in a girl who was beautiful and unavailable!
I spent part of the day grocery shopping. I had to go to four different stores to get all the ingredients for some of the recipes in our latest "Fine Cooking" Magazine. I think one of the Thai recipes is going to require a trip to Ta Lin Market. That's like crossing the universe to go to southeast Albuquerque from Corrales. Ordering the ingredients on Amazon might be faster.
Bulbs are shooting up all over the place, and what might be Little Red Riding Hood Tulips have flowered. A little yellow daffodil bloomed in the catio, but I didn't bother to photograph it. Daffodils are one of my least favorite flowers, followed by iris.
When Laurie put cream in her coffee sludge this morning, it made Celtic-like patterns. "Celtic sludge" has a nice sound to it, but for some reason I don't believe it would be a top seller at Starbucks.
Now I have to adjust to the time change. The clock shows it's getting late, but my internal clock thinks it's an hour earlier — it doesn't bode well for a full night's sleep.
