I was feeling better most of the day, but all my joints started hurting again after the sun wen't down. I was running a slight fever early in the evening, but now it's closer to normal. So I have to monitor my temperature closely tonight and tomorrow.
I didn't do much today, as I was trying to rest and recover. Rosencrantz laid on my legs this afternoon and got lost in fleece. As I was laying on the couch, I noticed the photo of Bad Water, Death Valley I did 25 years ago looked interesting with the reflections. Bad Water is the lowest spot in the US at 282 feet below sea level. I ran drippers on one of the rose gardens, then photographed roses and flowers we got last week as the low sun streamed through the window.
The orchids are still happy. All the buds on the yellow orchid have bloomed. The pink spotted orchid has two buds left that are starting to open. The amaryllis stock that has been the subject of a few photos recently, is getting ready to bloom. That will be the third year in a row that it has bloomed.
As long as I can rest and recover without developing a fever I'll be doing well. I used to work 12 hour days then do all kinds of stuff in the evenings, but my compromised immune system doesn't put up with it. It's really hard to balance life while my immune system recovers.
