Orchid in the Mirror

I have a cold. So far no fever, which is good, but a I have a very runny nose and coughing from post nasal drip. A stressful week at work and late nights working on papers didn't help.

Laurie and I were talking about signs the other day. We decided that all the signs and billboards along our streets and highways add to the stress of driving. For me, one way to reduce sign induced stress is to photograph signs.

When we bought our orchids, the yellow and brown one looked interesting in the mirror. I forgot I had taken the photo of the orchid in the mirror.

I tried to lay around with Rosencrantz when I got home, but laying on my back made me cough, and kitties think I'm hacking up a hairball whenever I cough or laugh.  When my coughing freaks out the cats, it makes me laugh, then I get a mixture of coughing and laughing, which makes the kitties act like I'm a giant hairball demon preparing to unload on them. If they have any sense of proportion, their fear is well justified!
