Antlers on a Hog

We got three new orchids on the way home tonight. We also came across an interesting character on his Harley. He had antlers on the back rack and was drinking coffee, I assume, from a car mug. He was decked out in leather with various knives hanging on is belt and chaps. He was one really cool dude.

Some of the daffodils on A Rainbow of Color, featured yesterday, are turning peach already. I've included a photo so you can see the change. I'm thinking they will change even more tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I now have a forest of orchids hanging over my computer. They really add to the computing environment. The new white orchid is big and bold and very luminous. It's hard to capture the quality in a photo. White can be so difficult. The light purple striped orchid and the star orchid are true to their colors. I really like having the orchids at the computer so I can match the colors. The incandescent lights and using a shutter speed that I can hand hold the camera with tends to change the color.

Traffic was really slow on Alameda, so we got home pretty late. We still let the cats out. The temperature was perfect this evening, so the kitties didn't really want to come in when it got dark. I finally got all of them in but Puck, who messed around and stayed out of reach until well after dark. I think we are going to have to start sitting on the deck until well after dark if these temperatures continue.
